Considering that Bovespa closed at around 57,500 points in 2011, all stock market analysts in Brazil were way off in their 2011 predictions (just see below).
So here is the winner of our Oscar for “outrageous Bovespa predictions for 2011″: Santander Corretora, at 89,000 points…. a mere 32,000 points off!

AFTER THE COLLAPSE OF OGX AND ASSOCIATES (MORE THAN 5% OF IBOVESPA) LIKELY IT WILL FALL TO 32 000.
The X companies (open but private??) will not collapse. BNDES will put much money on it… more and more and more…
BNDES AND BRAZIL WILL COLLAPSE WITH X COMPANIES, PETROBRAS, VALE, LUPATECH, MARFRIG, JBS AND RELATED CRAP. GROWING DEBT, HIGHER COSTS OF CAPITAL, NEGATIVE CASH FLOW, ETC.
does anyone know a broker in Brazil or UK, that I can short the BRL against USD?
Information are now becoming very confusing! Don't know which one is the most accurate.
