Football star Neymar has just bought an Azimut 78 yacht for R$15 million… well deserved!
Money is never an issue for him, of course. The player’s monthly earnings are said to be around R$3 million, although his football team Santos pays him “only” R$440,000 out of this amount. The remainder comes from his sponsors: Volkswagen, Nike, Panasonic, Red Bull, Tenys Pé Baruel, Lupo, Ambev, Claro, Unilever e Santander.

At least this one was not bought via BNDES money.
Marc,
I agree but I think Neymar’s corporate sponsors may have received BNDES funds. Distortions flow unequally through the economy.
Brazil is one of the poor country in this world. It produce a huge numbers of great footballer. Like Pele, Zico, Romario, Ronaldo, Kafu, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho and many more. But they love football, not a luxury life style. In middle of carrier, Ronaldinho has spend a luxury and careless life. So he suffering from his football carrier. I think young Neymar will not step forward in this lifestyle.
neymar its a brasilian goverment product. marketplace for this product are all brasilians who believe brazil is now a superpower….brazil is the country of the future, today…do you beleive this crap? so do i.
