Brazilian companies will increase employees’ salaries by 7.4% in 2012, according to the survey “Wage Trends” published by ECA International. This adjustment will be the third largest in the Americas, second only to Venezuela (30%) and Argentina (20%). In real terms, the wage increase in Brazil will be 2.2%, considering next year’s Brazil inflation forecast of 5.2% by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
