From Exame Magazine:
“São Paulo-based real estate developer JHSF, which specializes in upscale properties, will launch this year the largest building in the country with at least 85 000 square meters of built-in area. The venture may also be the tallest building in Brazil, with a height of over 170 meters. The property will be in a prime area of Pinheiros, in the southern area of São Paulo. The launch should take place by December, and prices have not yet been defined. If licenses and proper authorizations are approved, the new building, which had not yet been named, will exceed the Palacio W. Zarzur (the old building Mirante do Vale), in downtown, the tallest tower in the country.“
Our take on this news: Skyscrapers are a great bubble indicator – they tend to go up before the economy goes down.
